Power of Plants Series: Seed Starting 101

Starting your own seedlings can seem intimidating, but this rewarding practice will save you money and give your garden more variety. With guidance from University of Delaware Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners and inexpensive start-up supplies, you will be on the path to success! Learn which plants are easiest to start from seed, when to start your seeds, and which growing conditions will ensure strong, healthy seedlings. Participants will leave understanding why starting your own seeds really is worth your time and effort, along with seeds, planting media, and a seed-starting tray.
