Exploring Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek: Day Trip

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19.

Enjoy a guided tour of the newly-opened Delaware Botanic Gardens with Brian Trader, deputy executive director and director of horticulture, and his colleagues. During June, the 2-acre Meadow Garden enters peak bloom, where pollinators abound on almost 70,000 perennials planted in a design created by internationally-renowned plantsman Piet Oudolf. Experience native grasses moving in the wind while Echinacea pallida ‘Hula Dancer’ delights with beautiful white flowers among the purple floral spikes of Liatris pycnostachya. Explore the 12 acres of Woodland Gardens and 1,000 feet of waterfront on tidal Pepper Creek to fully appreciate this amazing garden. Box lunch included.
