Jacque organizes community outreach and beautification projects in city parks. She supports Friends of Parks groups by establishing initial community contacts and strategic community partnerships, maintaining a presence at community meetings, serving as liaison to the Wilmington Beautification Commission, and tracking park volunteer hours. During the summer months she coordinates the Horticulture & Environmental Leadership Program (H.E.L.P.), a program for 8th graders. Jacque also manages beehives in TheDCH gardens, assisted by a volunteer beekeeper. Previously she worked with Delaware State Parks, Brandywine Creek State Park, and the Brandywine Zoo. Jacque has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy.

Fun fact: Jacque has played ice hockey since high school, currently playing for and helping to run a men’s league team. She met her husband when he joined her team. And of course, Jacque’s a huge Flyers fan.
