An accomplished and artistic horticulturist, Andrew is the creative mind behind TheDCH’s diverse container gardens as well as a number of public landscape plantings around Wilmington. He supervises seasonal staff, sub-contractors and volunteers in the planting and maintenance of traffic islands, TheDCH gardens, and other public spaces. Andrew leads occasional classes and workshops. He is an ISA Certified Arborist. His passion for combining horticulture and community is also evident at his home in West Philadelphia, where he runs an urban farm complete with beehives, turkeys, and laying hens, selling his organic produce to neighbors and local chefs.

Fun Fact: Andrew can ride a unicycle and juggle – although not simultaneously.
