City parks

Our city parks are one of the greatest resources we have. They offer wonderful places to enjoy both passive and active recreation. Who hasn’t benefitted from strolling through a park on a crisp fall day or spending a hot afternoon picnicking in the shade of a tree? Just as parks are there for everyone to enjoy, we need help from volunteers to keep them beautiful.

Spring and fall are our most active planting months and each season brings multiple volunteer opportunities. Get your hands dirty planting bulbs or mulching an already established bed.  It isn’t all hard work, either. Volunteer days are fun ways of meeting new people. They can connect you with your neighborhood or introduce you to a new one. We love to work with corporate groups as well and can easily accommodate numbers up to 20 people.
