TheDCH urban farm coalition

Born out of the efforts of passionate community members, local farmers, non-profit leaders, and government officials, the 12th and Brandywine Urban Farm is the culmination of work done by TheDCH’s Urban Farm Coalition. The Coalition believes in the power of partnerships and that’s why more than 10 individuals and organizations are currently a part of our group.

The mission of TheDCH’s Urban Farm Coalition is to support community-oriented urban agricultural projects in Northern Delaware by bringing together resources and technical assistance in a collaborative approach to urban farming.  In short, we help make sustainable urban farms happen!

TheDCH partners with other organizations to create school gardens that introduce children to vegetables and encourage healthy eating habits.
